As mentioned on here before i wouldn't expect Humphrey Smith himself to know exactly how many pubs ( or buildings, land etc that he actually owns). Maybe there is a list locked away, but we shall never know about it. Two known pubs that are just shut are the King Edward School building at Bath and the Lower Ship at Reading. As you perhaps imply, there may well be a number of pubs which are just closed (and awaiting refurbishment, sale, etc.).

I know there use to be training hosue in the Middlesborough area that was sold and knocked down by Bass i think. Then i believe there's one next to the Queens Head in Stockport that is an empty building, not sure if this was a former pub or not ?
