Another nice pub.

This pub is currently undergoing refurbishment, although the scaffolding has gone.  The front bar has a quality new carpet and the ceiling is newly painted with the rose detail painted in gold.  New furniture adhorns the pub, which now reminds me a little of a gentlemen's club.  The games room to the left of the pub is now open after refurbishment, which can only be accessed by customers from the road.  The driveway through the pub on the right, has some ceramic tiles missing, which I am sure the Brewery will replace to match the originals at great cost.

This photograph is from the very top of the stairs leading to the manager's flat and looking down the many flights of stairs.  The stairs too are undergoing refurbishment, but this photo show's the top flights at a stage of being nearly completed.  The ground floor and first floor were not quite this advanced.

I don't know the Boroughs of London too well myself, but I think that officially it is in Camden.

Correct, Soho is a district within the Borough of Camden.

The last time i saw the 'Angel' it was a bit of haze during a stagger so i refreshed my memory on Google earth to find 1/2 blacked out.

Had a further look around using this new version and there is a cracking shot of two yes two drays delivering to The Chandos, worth a look.

The Chandos is an incredibly big and busy pub, and not surprising being (sort of) on the corner of Trafalgar Square.

I can only see the one dray, with a second lorry a little way in front, with green curtains: The Chandos on Google Street View

Had a look on your link (same image), yes that is the second. HS, to save money has been known to operate two drays with just two drivers..

Going back to your link, noticed a flag for a pub called the 'Ship & Shovel, bet it's not called that after a couple of sherbets.

Very funny.  While in Ollerton recently, which has two Samuel Smith's pubs, I was told that each pub had a different dray, one from the North, and one from the South.  The pubs are less than one hundred yards apart.

Now that would be funny, about 50 miles to Tad or 150 to Wapping.

I've no idea how true it is.  A customer told me this in front of the manager of a Samuel Smith's pub.  The manager didn't correct the statement, so I assumed it was true.
