What a excellent pub this is. It's right on he south bank of the River Thames. The photo's do not this place justice and it's a must visit pub if your in London.

Its nice to see photos of pubs most of us will not ever go in, most seem to be pubs of great character, its a pity they are run by the hump as they deserve to be full of drinkers enjoying a pint or two, but i suspect most are almost empty and his customers have gone elsewhere.

mac33, generally not so in London.  The pubs in the capital are generally quite busy, with a strong local trade plus the added benefit of tourists.  Some of the pubs themselves are tourist attractions, such as Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese.

Glad to hear that darkieboy pubs like the ones shown here deserve to be used, as you say some are themselves a tourist attraction, long may it continue. despite humpreys best efforts to ruin them all.

Many of the London pubs deserve to be used as they are beautifully restored in many cases and much money spent.The beer is good and its alot cheaper than many other pubs in the same area.

Inside The Angel.  It's quite a nice walk to here from the Anchor Tap!  No cask ale though, but beautiful day and excellent view (of the Captain Kidd).
