Just had a quick look at the registration for the brewery and there appears to be a new Company Secretary appointed in November last year called Mark Richard Butler, who took over from Norman Scarr. So there appears to be at least 3 directors at the brewery or main company.

also found a subsidiary company Oglethorpe management has another director called   MR NICHOLAS JAMES FENNELL

It doesn't say that Mark Richard Butler is a director.  You can be company secretary without being a director and it is common practice for the company secretary to be an employee of the company.  Even 30 years ago the company secretary was sometimes a paid position at high management level but it could also be any employee.

Personally I wouldn't be the co sec for SS because you are responsible for quite a bit of legal stuff (and given that this model is complicated, guidance will be few and far between).

Mark Butler did a short spell stocktaking before becoming an area manager then he went onto being estate manager (he was a good area manager)
