Hi there,

If anyone has any information on Widow Cullen's Well in Lincoln then it would be much appreciated.  I'm looking for just about anything, especially history and photographs (during redevelopment, as it was when it was the Wig and Mitre, etc).

Cheers,

DB.

I found this reference to the Wig and Mitre and Samuel Smith being issued with an injunction in 1999 to prevent them using the name.

It looks as if the people next door registered the name Wig and Mitre for their restaurant probably when the Samuel Smith property next door was boarded up - stole a march on Humphrey by the looks of it and prevented him using the old name!
