Also heard that the managers can use a company called Sykes. Will add a link below

How strange for Humphrey to be endorsing use of another company - or is there a family connection? The founder of Sykes House Farm Ltd happens to be called Smith!

Been in a Sams pub this lunch time and a noticed a new menu on the bar, well on closer inspection. The only noticable change on the front is "Menu" in a different type font and larger. On a closer look it had a cottage and also a fishermans pie which are new. Also on the back a new cinamon pudding has replaced the Lemon pudding. The manager said that the prices have gone up, but can not verify that. Next time i visit a pub with a menu i shall check the prices.

The lemon sponge was on the blackboard advertised as a special, i assume to use up old stock.

The MD of Sykes House Farm is one Robert Smith and his pic on their website displays an uncanny resemblance to Hump so I suspect they might just be related!

Heard a rumour last week that the menus are changing, a couple of the food eating pubs are changing to a new menu that looks like a wine list. Complete with the pubs name splashed across the front. I know prawns are coming off, as when customers at my local ordered a prawn sandwich, they were told that they no longer stocked prawns. Anyone know what changes are happening with the new menu.

Suppose it must be difficult to find room in the freezer for the bags of 'prawns'.  :)

Have seen the new menu, and it does indeed look just like a wine list. With the menu spread out and in larger print. No prawn sandwiches, but ham now. Believe that the prices are the same. But has the name printed on the front and looks alot better than the other yellow menus.
