Unfortunately, it's live music as far as the Licensing Act is concerned. I have fond memories of being chucked out of a pub a good few years ago with a mate for our amazingly bad rendition of Mustang Sally!

I honestly believe that Humphrey is against music completely and would not have it back in his pubs if it were free or even if he was paid to put it on. It has become an obsession with him.

He seems to have lost the plot with pubs with function rooms not been used for live music or entertainment anymore.He must be losing money instead of gaining as in the takings of the pub.

Well in fairness ownership of the company can only pass to male heirs of the shareholders so maybe he'll be stuck with it at some point, assuming he wants all those millions!
