If its true then at least Humphrey will be selling more than before he lost the other airline contracts. Will have to await and see what happens with it.

Sky Chefs are the world's biggest airline caterers and still supply Virgin. Could be that Sarah Brownridge are supplying items to them but I doubt it as they have their own production facilities, and frankly, the stuff they make isn't really suitable for airline trays.

It's not necessarily Virgin Atlantic...it could be one of the other Virgin branded airlines, like Virgin Blue.

It's all the same company, just different liveries and routes. They're  not going to negotiate global supply contracts for each brand!

Not quite the same company. "Virgin" is largely a branding exercise.  Virgin Atlantic is 51% owned by Richard Branson, while Virgin America is only 25% owned.  The different airlines are run as seperate independent companies.

Get your point, but Sarah Brownridge isn't going to be sending food to Virgin Blue - in Australia, or Virgin America.  I hope that he has won a contract somewhere though because he might relax a bit on the food in the pubs.

True.  I can't imagine him letting to the grip on the food side now.

Heard from a reliable source that Sarahbrownridge applied for 3 contracts and expected to get one. But have ended up with all three and they are for Virgin, not sure if its for the foreign ones as well. Apparently they are not taking anybod else on to do the work, so they might struggle to complete the orders.

And you'd think that there would be something in the business news about it, but there isn't, other than Sky Chefs renewing their contract with Virgin Atlantic a year ago.  Wonder if it's something a little closer to home like Jet2 who are based at Leeds/Bradford.

Unfortunately I've had more then my fair share of inflight meals, most from the better known big boys and I've yet to have anything half decent. When flying now, I take a packup with me and just have the free booze.
