There have been others over the last year that have been run by a single relief manager or a holding relief. One that even did quite a bit of food as well. Probably due to the lack of managers

There are a lot of single managed pubs, last time i was in the  Tadcaster area.these were also single managers and believe they still are. The Howden,The fox, Hare n Hounds at Stutton, The Crown Bolton Percy, The Fox Boston Spa, He's been a single Manager for over 20 years, Red Lion at Colne (was) not sure now, pig n whistle at Scunthorpe (was) not sure now, and many more.

Sorry bistodog11 i had forgotten about the Fox at Boston Spa and the Crown at Bolton Percy having single managers. Is Humphrey still trying to retire Carol from there this year or next i forget.
