???being a Dj who regularly uses a sam smiths pub i am distressed and upset that in their wisdom the heirachy at the top removed all licenses and juke boxes
plus live music from their pubs.I am a rochdalian who has a plethora of pubs at my disposal in a small area(the pleasant/bay horse/bridge inn/horse and jockey/the eagle/roebuck/the star/black dog to name but a few plus many more clubs and bars who purchase sams products.Rochdale seems to have been dictated to by sams because of this amount of pubs in a small area which means as a Dj i have to work out of town shaw oldham etc.. when there are perfectly good pubs available locally in need of good entertainment reasonably priced.working out of town we have to increase the price of gigs to cover transport costs for Djs equipment etc when this need not be necessary locally i just hope in future sams will review this policy and come to their senses because people are leaving their pubs in search of entertainment the good old saturday afternoon close to the bookies going back to your pint in the sams pub and watch your horses lose! (We loved it)its our hard earned money we choose to give to these pubs and communities so come on sams bring back the good days give these hard working people some entertainment they deserve it.
