Over the last day or two I've been having trouble with these two sites.  When I log on to them all I get is about 1" wide strip and not a full page. 

Is anybody having the same trouble or is it me that is doing something wrong?

Nope, had a busy day.  However, I did see The Webmaster looking at this page, if my memory serves me well.  I'll drop The Webmaster a PM.

Hi all,

I've just had a quick look with Google Chrome browser, and all still seems OK.

So the problem could be an upgrade on a different browser (Internet Explorer maybe?). So I will investigate further.

The code at this site has remained unchanged.

If people could report what browser they are using when things don't seem right - that may help speed up my diagnosis.
