Sorry centurion thought that they may have changed the name of the pub. 
Just realised i typed the name in capitals, i am told that is like shouting in these modern times, sorry.
The name 'Red Lion' and Samuel Smith with rose can clearly be seen, etched in to the windows of the pub. They are best seen in the episode about the DENTON football club. Along with ashtrays beer mats etc.
It seems Sams got away with product placement long before Nationwide and there cash machine in Corrie.
Must say that the windows in the Old Red Lion Leeds are lovely. Don't think we will see another SSOB pub in a tv programme
