Imperial Stout, 1570 reviews
« on: Nov 20 - 2011 »
It looks like our friends in the US of A have been busy reviewing the Imperial Stout. Here.........................

you can read 1570 reviews.  If 1570 drinkers have taken time to review it, just how wide spread is Sam Smiths in the US?

And a lot more reviews of Sam Smiths products on here.........................

Well, Sams definitely export to Heidelburg Distributing Co in Norfolk, VA, but according to the website I found that's just the latest shipment and they also export to half of the US states.  http://www.importgenius.com/suppliers/samuel-smith-old-brewery.  There are 1285 recorded shipments and if each of those is a just one 40' container that's still an awful lot of bottles!

Interesting stuff. Americans think our lovely country is so small, so jsut assume that Tadcaster is North Yorkshire and so near the Scottish border in their eyes
