As the tools available to managers of the SSOB empire are limited and non existence. I have seen similar signs outside other SS pubs, but never put them on here for obvious reasons. Many managers are hoping for a busy xmas and new year period and good luck pulling in more customers. I do think that some SSOB pubs are trying to hard to attract the young and other people that are attracted by the low price of the beer.
Don't understand how Humphrey can try and use the same formula for his London flagship pubs and the northern ones. Different types of people and different needs. If indeed the Shoulder at Bradford is getting a refurbishment in the new year, then i don't see how it is going to do food as well. It's busy enough at the best of times and limited staff hours. Food as well, how is that going to happen
