Managers Long Service Reward
« on: Dec 21 - 2011 »
How many managers do we know that are receiving their long service rewards at Christmas time ?  :P

The longer the manager serves the bigger the reward, except where the manager has had a gap in service. Soon Humphrey won't have to pay out any money, as there won't be any long serving managers.

In the present situation probably 2 years. Know one manager who has been in there pub for four years. So must kick in after the 11 month probationary period i suppose

I worked for the brewery for 20 years and got the long service award every year, but thinking about it does the Hump have to pay this, had two jobs previous and never got one.Never gave it much thought but is it a voluntary payment ?

So you must have found the brewery ok to work for. You must have had a pretty good long service reward. Not sure whether or not it's written into the contracts or not. Or if it's a voluntary payment out of the kindness of Humphrey

Sometimes i wish that, others would just mind there own business, making waves, giving 'him' something else to think about cutting.

If you are so concerned about the welfare of the poor down trodden managers. May i suggest you boycot all Sam's pubs on Christmas lunch time. However i guess that will not happen as you will still want your value for money pint and tut, tut, tut when you can not get served due to the fact only the managers will be working that day.

BAR HUMBUG.

PS Merry Christmas and yes i do mean it. ;)

Just noticed, the 'kiss' emotion? is missing now?

OBD Yes I was there in the good old days when it was a good company to work for, as all the older managers will agree, but got out when Hump started making it almost impossible to do the job,yes it now is now more like a workhouse

Centurion if you think i,m causing waves it would be more like a splash, don,t you think Hump looks at all angles to save money,it could be in the contract to pay this money I believe that I have an old contract so will check.Have unfortunetly not been in a Sams pub for 3 months and have to suffer paying well over the odds for inferior ale.

Merry xmas and yes I also mean it  :-*

I've meet up with OldBreweryDrinker a few times and I must say that he comes over as 100% for the manager who work for Sam Smiths.

I have to say as a person who loves to visit Sam Smith's public houses, I'm not into the politics of the brewery but I do believe that most on here are on the managers side.
