Photographers rights
« on: Jan 26 - 2012 »
Seeing as there's been a bit of discussion over the taking of photographs on private land I thought I'd post this pdf document which sums up the rights of photographers and what can and can't be photographed or published. It's useful for amateur photographers and also for professional photographers who sometimes need a reminder!  Click on the link below to download.

This is a good one on how some  try to push people like me around.   ;D

The people concerned have now left the company and Golden Wonder as apologized.

I've seen that and although I have no sympathy at all for the ignorant, thick as pigs**t 'security' people, I'm used to getting grief off jumped up idiots like that and as time is money I'm normally long gone by the time they've even taken their eye of their mugs of tea!  Sometimes though it's just too much sport to let it drop ;)

Interesting read and sure that many members will be more careful taking and posting pictures on here.

I have taken many photo's that i have not published on here, due to either identifying the pubs or the managers too easily. Others i feel would give identities away as well. I did after all take a few snaps of Oxton Hall and might post them on here for all to see. Despite the BBC documentary, showing an Aeriel view of the house.

Best way Ian to keep our cameras in our pockets at tricky times. But this site would be so dull without pictures.  :P
