It looks like the chef as gone! A notice in the bar say "No meals until further notice"

I do believe one of the barmaids as taken over running the pub. Seems to be making a good job of it.

Went in last night for a couple of OBB's. Must say that the beer in the Rugby is excellent and well worth a visit if your in Hull. It's tucked away behind the BBC building next to Queen's gardens.

Went in today twice. all I will say is, what a nice pint of OBB we had.

When I went in here last week I found the place empty so I took some more photo. I've always found the Rugby a fine example on how a pub should be run.  Bar staff always polite, beer always spot on and always clean and tidy.

Lucky you. I'm up early tomorrow. I'm using my bus pass to visit two Sam Smiths pub that I've not been to before.

Ian are you having a last ditch attempt to get to all the SS before the end of 2011. So you don't have many to visit in 2012

Well yes and no.  I've a bit of spare time for the next week or two so that's why I'm knocking a few off. I think I've less then 80 to go.

But what do I do when I've visited them all? Last year when I did all the London pubs in 3 days, I was sat in the last pub on the list and felt very deflated that I'd done it.  Nothing to look forward to.
