Always in support of the Samuel Smiths Brewery - although very concerned about the current company strategy towards its staff and customers, as exercised by the Directors. We believe in promoting common sense, decency, compassion, fairness and compliance with company, employment and English law.

Been out and about today and found myself not far away, so I popped in for a quick half.

This is yet another nice Sam Smiths pub, locals very friendly when speaking to them. My photos do not do this pub justice.

Looks a lovely pub. What is happening with the christmas decorations out already. Has Humphrey had a change of heart about spending money on them this year.

Yes I just found out that it was among the ones that got deleted when the site went down.  Dam I did not take any more photos of the pub.  Maybe next  time I'm passing.

I would say that those candles have been provided by the managers, rather than the Brewery.

DB.

I would agree DB, can't see the brewery supplying candles. Humphrey probably has some at Oxton Hall to save money.  :()

Possibly so and he could use a mask to stop people recognising him.  :()
