The 'business' doesn't seem to respond as other businesses. Not only do they not have a UK corporate website - but they have banned all of their managers from having websites for their respective Pubs and Hotels!

A lot of their decisions would not appear to make commercial sense. Examples being; the amount of lost trade, since banning all music. Also disappearing are a lot of popular bottled and spirit brands - in favour of their own branded equivalents. Sadly, they don't do an alternative for Tia Maria - so there goes the Black Russians I used to treat myself to. Also vanished - many snacks, including good old Pork Scratchings.

So it would appear that the company is not monetary driven. It's just one big train set, to be played with whatever the consequences - and obviously the people who paid for this preverbal train set - don't matter one iota! Anyway, having said all of that..

Always in support of the Samuel Smiths Brewery - although very concerned about the current company strategy towards its staff and customers, as exercised by the Directors. We believe in promoting common sense, decency, compassion, fairness and compliance with company, employment and English law.
