As a drinker of non-alcoholic beverages only, I have been in plenty of other pub chains which give little or no thought to these customers.  The most annoying thing for me is the price.  Sat back drinking the weak and flat gun sprayed diet cola tonight it made me realise how us alcohol free drinkers are taken for granted.  Even the bottled diet cola needs an overhaul.  If Humphrey would like an official taster I would volunteer my services.😢

Walkers Crisps replied on the 18th - not as prompt as Tayto - I sent the email on the 25th of August. They reply that they do not make crisps for anyone else. So we're still left with Seabrooks to reply. Or not, as the case may be.

Interesting - where are Benson's based? Never heard of them. Backs up my theory of Sam's buying the co. ( ! ).

Been doing some digging. Benson's are dissolved. However, as the head office was Leeds, it's possible Sam's picked up the defunct co. assets etc. and formed another company from the remains. But what's it called?

There was a previous post about crisps, started in 2009, supplier of crisps.......dumped. According to Due Dil, an online financial monitoring co., the last annual returns for Benson's were 2001, and the last annual accounts were in 1999. Which rather leaves Bensons out of it to me. Back to square one..............

I think that it's still Benson's! After Sams aquired the company it just becomes an asset of the brewery without any figure produced publically. Rather like the wine & spirits supplier (who's name escapes me ) or the stamford brewery where the fruit beer is made. Now, I could be wrong on all counts but there is a pattern here and I don't think H likes to out source. Food for thought perhaps?

Definitely were made from a small company in the London area that was about six months ago, pretty certain that its still the same manufacturer.

See  http://www.kolak.co.uk/

However, I'm sticking with my Benson's theory.

There are quite a few manufacturers if you look into it - however, a lot are bespoke, make crisps in batches so they are out as they wouldn't be able to produce the volume.

Sent Seabrook's another email yesterday reiterating the question and pointing out I'd had no reply to 1st enquiry. Replied today, they, like Walker's, do not make/supply crisps/nuts for anyone else.
