It is a lovely pub in the centre of Selby and had quite a few people in the lunchtime that i visited. It still had both Alpine and Taddy lager available as well. Meals were been served to, which is different to many Sam's pub's lately.

Hopped off the train on our way home to visit this pub again.

Sorry about the quality of the photos, maybe not worth posting, but will do until someone posts better ones.

Travelling back home yesterday I found that I got the wrong train and had to get off in Selby. I had 35 minutes to wait so I popped around to visit the Cricketers.  It was 4pm and the place was quite full.  The managers of 2 months are new to the trade  but do seem to be making a go of it.

Wrong train?  That's a good excuse for Mrs Ian!
