Greyhound Accrington
« on: Dec 31 - 2014 »
Hello all. Found this forum by accident. Am a regular at the Greyhound Accrington,  before there, I was a regular at the Petre Arms. I prefer Taddy Lager. A good pub, the Greyhound but has gone down a lot since it stopped doing food, (not the microwaveable ones either!) Thanks for the add.

Didn't a similar thing happen at the Petre Arms.  A lovely pub which used to do excellent food.  Then Humph had his ping food brainstorm and spoiled it(as he did with many others too). :U :U

Why is he doing that? is it to run it down for Sam to take over and build it back up again? With all these Marstons Gastropubs popping up, you would think he would want to promote food. If you're eating, you're going to drink as well? Common sense isn't it?

Who knows.  The mans a bit, sorry a lot, eccentric.  To read his mind is an impossibility.  I worked for him for a number of years and could never get my head around his ways.  He can be a nightmare. ::W:: ::W::

Depends! I don't eat much at all in pubs. Other folk do, but my preference is for pubs without food. As for Marston's  - yuk...

No, it's well known that he likes OBB and a bag of beef. Impecable taste I would say!
