Found a nice advert from the Lancashire Evening Post 5th April 1939 which states;Hotel,(corner of Victoria Rd and North Drive)Cleveleys,open tomorrow Thursday April 6th at 11 am,Samuel Smiths noted Taddy ales,Bass,Guinness and Worthington.Quality wines and spirits,proprietor J.R.F.Hill.A lot of the Sams pubs around this time also sold Bass and other bottled beers,Sams used to bottle Guinness maybe did others also?.

Many breweries bottled Guinness, I remember Darleys of Thorne sold a lot of it.

A few of the Guinness bottle labels I have,obviously not as old as pub but hopefully interesting,BB.
