Rockingham Arms Closure

Help
My local the Rockingham Arms Corby has been closed after a dispute over the No Swearing enforcement between Manager and Humphrey.
Property at present boarded up.
Any one out there who can give me an update on what will happen next it would be much appreciated.

Can you elaborate on the no swearing dispute?

It wasn't to do with the no swearing policy, Landlord done a midnight flit and by the looks of it he'd been planning it for a while.

So, BOATMAN's claim was incorrect as the OP?

Please don't take it the wrong way, but I support the no-swearing policy and I find it hard to believe a pub will suffer/close if users cannot swear.

Technically yes, however 5 days before the landlord pissed off Humphrey visited and there was an incident where people were swearing and humphrey took the hump (allegedly the landlord refused to tell them to stop swearing). It was assumed this was to do with why the landlord left, although this may have been a factor it's clear now that it was planned way before this incident.

Just to clarify this situation.
Many rumours have been generated and in some instances some  are malicious ,the fact is yes the management couple were intending to leave.
Some clowns in the bar chose to aggravate the swearing ban and made a situation worse by provoking Humph by swearing .
The manager was on his day off  at the time and didn't see who was swearing and refused to bar the idiots.
Humphrey took offence to this and next following day sent him an official written warning .
This was the straw which broke the camels back so to speak.
They banked the takings the following day and left shortly after this locking the pub up.
We regulars were denied our local for 6 weeks.
If you don't like Smith's policies go drink else where ,some of us prefer our pub open for business.
You don't win with Smithy.
